"Mondlicht mit Netzen fangen", a group show presenting works by Ursula Conz Odermatt (Textile Art), Dani Fritschi (Photography), Marianne Theis (Painting) and Nicolas Vionnet (Painting, Object, Installation)
The four artists met and got to know each other over 10 years ago in Uster and have never lost contact over the years. In the current exhibition, they explore what exists and what connects them, consciously linking different approaches. "Mondlicht mit Netzen fangen" surprises with a variety of genres as well as site-specific works developed for the Villa Grunholzer space.

11 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Program of events organized by the cultural institutions Galerie Gluri Suter Huus, Atelier Walter Huser, Historisches Museum Baden and Museum Eduard Spörri.
4 p.m.: Short guided tour through the exhibition "WAU!" with curator Dr. Marc Philip Seidel.

The animal in the arts is a great subject. Their artistic representation can be found in all cultural areas throughout the millennia, back to the stone reliefs of ancient advanced civilizations or the breathtaking cave paintings. In fables and children's films, animals even take on human traits, and in sacred contexts their symbolic content gains in significance. What is it that fascinates us humans so much about our close companions - whether at home, in the wild, in the zoo or in the museum?
Eduard Spörri's enthusiasm for animals is still evident today in his pencil sketches, plaster models and bronze casts for living rooms and public spaces. Based on his animal motifs, the current exhibition will present the works of eighteen artists and designers from over a hundred years.
